I never thought that I would have bought anything like this, but I did: a tube amplifier that may or may not be good ($30 btw).
I needed a pre-amp for a Technics turntable. This amplifier does NOT do the job. My mistake, it just didn’t do what I thought it would. It will amplify, yes – but it’s not a proper amp for connecting a LP (phono) to anything (line level). You live, you learn. So if you see one of these tubes in something you want to amp your record player for use, it’s not going to work that way for you. But it does indeed work as an amp, and as I am not an audiophile, I can’t vouch for the quality. Anyway, here is a picture of the vacuum tube (there are two of them).
As an amp, it works fine – and its cool that it has two vacuum tubes running the business.
