OIB successfully completed the modified ZigZag West mission today. Weather was mostly clear, with some hazy regions but nothing that impacted the OIB optical remote sensors. We did coordinated with the NASA G3 aircraft on the CryoSat 2 data line today, but both the ESA aircraft were grounded due to poor weather at Alert. All OIB sea ice remote sensing instruments reported good data collection again today.
We hope the weather holds for another mission tomorrow.
