A successful “ICESat-2 North” land ice mission was flown today. All OIB remote sensing instruments reported good data collection. The run down Petermann Glacier had some light to moderate turbulence, but otherwise the flight was smooth and conducted in good weather.
Tomorrow we’ll attempt to conduct a science transit mission to Fairbanks Alaska.
