The DC8 is being pre-flighted, and we’ve finished our transit flight briefing.
We’ll take off from Palmdale CA and fly about 10.5 hours overnight to Santiago Chile. Hopefully we’ll have a smooth passage thru customs there, on-board the DC8 relief flight crew (who flew to Santiago yesterday) and continue on to Punta Arenas.
Baggage being readied for loading
NASA 817 being prepared for the transit flight.
