After a weekend of no flights, we continued operations today with the flight titled “Russell Forty”. I’ve attached the flight plan to this email along with a couple of photos of sea ice.
The weather was surprisingly great over the target area – we had 100% coverage with none of the expected low clouds/fog – which is unusual for this time of year.
Tomorrow we will attempt to fly two missions with an approximately 1 hour refuel in between. That may or may not pan out, but that is our current plan. Hopefully we’ll pull it off!
