Today we flew the “Hiawatha Lakes” mission today, which was a relatively short flight with the aim of flying over some melt ponds to obtain laser and imagery data with the goal of determining pond depth. This should be an exciting set of data for analysis.
I have attached the flight plan – our actual flight was somewhat different (but in the same area) because the melt ponds weren’t exactly where we thought they were. Out pilots were able to hunt some down, of which I’ve attached a picture or two of.
I also attached the flight plan from yesterday – I believe I forgot to attach it to yesterdays email.
