Today IceBridge flew the Helheim-Kangerdlugssuaq Gap B mission. This is a scenic high-priority mission that has become a staple during the spring and summer campaigns in recent years. With only a few clouds on the eastern half of the transit legs, the mission was a big success. Additionally, we were able to refly two additional glaciers that we initially flew a couple weeks ago. All instruments reported successful data collection, with no instrument issues. We will attempt another flight tomorrow.
Below are a few plots and photos from today’s flight.
