Today we flew the Southwest Coastal A mission—our third baseline mission this week!  We had a few clouds in the northern section of the flight, but worked around them to collect data over all the flight lines.  We also overflew some PROMICE sites, which run automatic weather stations along with ablation and accumulation sensors.  We also performed a run down the Sermilik glacier at the southern end of the flight, near Narsarsuaq.  All instruments reported successful data collection on today’s flight.  The weather is forecast to close in a little more tomorrow, but we are hopeful that we may again be able to launch a mission to the southwest.

Attached are some views from the forward camera and a 3D plot from Sermilik glacier.
