Today we flew the Jakobshavn-Eqip-Store mission in western Greenland. With a weak weather system in southwestern Greenland, we were unsure which mission would be clear today. After the weather briefing in the morning, it was decided that this mission was the highest priority (baseline) with the best weather. Unfortunately, clear weather often comes with high winds, which was the case today. The inland ICESat lines were smooth, with some higher clouds, while the glacier runs on the coast were clearer, but with increased winds. The mission was completely successful with all instruments reporting successful data collection.

We will attempt to fly another mission tomorrow, with hopes of knocking out another baseline flight.
