We again had to rely on the better weather in Canada to find a suitable science target, and flew the medium-priority mission, Penny 01. This mission surveys the Penny Ice Cap on Baffin Island in Canada. We were rewarded with clear weather, beautiful scenery, and excellent data. Unfortunately, the snow radar is not operating properly, so the radar team will continue to troubleshoot it this evening. If all goes well with that fix, we will attempt another flight tomorrow before taking our down-day on Sunday.
Attached is a plot of the lines flown today, plus a few screenshots from the forward camera.
